UPDATE: I wanted to change my rating to reflect the excellent customer service i received as a result of my review. The owner replied and gave me a generous credit to use later on. I’m sure this was an isolated incident and not reflective on the usual quality of the food.I’ve never had a bad meal at Chicken Express until today. I ordered catfish dinner and the fish was so overcooked it was completely dried out inside. It was inedible. I’m sad because it is usually cooked perfectly.

Ordered 2 piece chicken combo and 3 piece combo fish. Very disappointed. Fish tasted like chicken and the chicken was so dry and stringy, the only good thing was the roll and coleslaw. What a waste of almost $24. Won’t be going back.

I stop by here every so often to order the 6 breaded chicken livers. I asked if fresh ones could be made and got them in about 5 minutes w/gravy and a biscuit no problem. I really like when they are freshly made because the texture is spot on. They were just right and plentiful! I'm so thankful to have a place that offers it as I need its nutritional value. Have no complaints or suggestions on making it better. It was perfect!
