It was my first visit in a year. The food quality and quantity was not as I remembered. One of the sides was cold and the black eyed peas could have cooked a little longer. The chicken fried steak was good.

The chicken fried chicken was excellent!
Our server Donna was great. Made sure we had everything we needed. Very friendly.
The daily value menu is $9.99. Great price and they don’t skimp on the food.

During the day I’ve never been disappointed, but if you go anytime after 5:30 it’s not worth the price. The past two times I’ve been the food looks so old, like it’s been sitting for more than a couple hours. It’s tasteless and the atmosphere is so cold and unpleasant. The servers are all great, but the food is drive thru quality (if that) after dark.
