While visiting Granbury, my wife and I found the Firehouse Cafe on the list of best restaurants for breakfast. We got there a few minutes before opening and there were already several people waiting to get in. Needless to say that this was a sign of what our experience was going to be like. The food was amazing and the atmosphere matched. The staff was very friendly and the service was on point. If you’re in the area you should definitely check out the Firehouse Cafe.

I stopped at Firehouse Cafe for Sunday breakfast after seeing all the high ratings and hearing great things from a local friend. The place was busy, which I took as a good sign, but my experience didn’t match the reputation.
When I walked in, there was a line but no clear direction on where to check in. After asking two diners, I finally found the host. He seated me quickly but didn’t smile—seemed more rushed than rude.
Service was inconsistent. One waitress who stopped by early on was friendly, but my actual server wasn’t warm and took orders from two tables who arrived after me before taking mine. When my food came, parts of the order were wrong. My toast was missing, and there was no apology—just a quick fix. The omelet still wasn’t made correctly, and by the time the toast arrived it wasn’t worth finishing. I ate about a third. The pancake was decent, but it didn’t make up for the rest.
I don’t usually leave 2-star reviews, but nothing was done to address the issues or offer any hospitality. I’m sure this is a solid spot for locals, but travelers might want to look elsewhere for a more reliable breakfast experience.

Definitely one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had. But the staff is absolutely the best part. Always stopping by and checking on you. And a huge plus is there biscuits. Almost wedding cake without the icing! Mmmmmm great!!!!

What an awesome experience! Refreshing to see all staff working together with 1 goal in mind, customers! Food was outstanding also! Salsa was impressive! Price was on point! I witnessed the manager walking around greating customers at their tables! Thank you from a couple from Weatherford! We will most definitely be coming back! Cafés take note this is how it's done! Yummmy!

My husband and I used to love coming in to eat breakfast on the weekends. Since their expansion, the service has seriously declined. They seat you but they don't communicate this with the servers. The servers they have can't seem to keep up. It's only okay now. Just this morning we were overlooked on being waited on, while customers who came in after us, were waited on first. We were excited for them to be able to expand, but now, not sure it was the best move for their business.

Will definitely come back! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were met with smiles and kindness. You could tell that everyone there enjoyed being there. I’ve never seen a waitstaff work together like they did. Our waitress checked on us multiple times and the other waitresses checked on us too. They all worked together and made sure every customer was well taken care of. Great job creating a joy-filled environment!!
Now, the food. The food did not disappoint either. My husband had the breakfast special and was more than he could eat. He normally finishes his meal; not today. 😆 I built my own omelet and it was perfection! They did not skimp on the veggies or sausage! It was very yummy and filling!! The sausage and salsa had a really great flavor!
I’d love to come back and try their Sunday dinner special - pot roast. 😋
Oh! And how could I forget about the breakfast potatoes. I had them cut the peppers and onions and they still tasted great! Fresh potatoes not frozen. Yum-o! Well done, Firehouse! Well done.
