The owners are there today. The owner lady didn’t like my tone ?? So she sent me and my client who the tacos were for elsewhere after slamming the window in our face 🤣

So I ran through here to grab a quick lunch. Service was good and fast. But when I got my food after driving away. I tried one of the chips. Noticed it tasted weird. But I haven’t eaten all day. Not really sure. Drove over to my lunch spot to sit and eat and started to actually dig in. The chips have the after taste of vomit… rancid… not sure if it’s the oil, or something else… this should have been my red flag. Decided to try the taco… same thing. It definitely tells me something is wrong with the frying oil. The taco meat was also cold. Decided at that point not to eat anymore. Promptly threw it away and went somewhere else. Definitely would not recommend this place. The employees were chill. I Didn’t call, didn’t reach out. I’m at this point really hoping I don’t get sick. I’m out $ on this lunch. Don’t care about the money. Not gonna waste my time reaching out to them.

I eat this quite often. The guacamole tostada is my favorite and always taste freshly made. I also love the cherry limeade. I’m in and out within a few minutes going through the drive through. They are very kind and professional.

Taco D has been a staple in my life since 1992!! The place is always clean and everyone is always friendly. You get a good meal and a good portion for a good price. Doesn’t matter where I’ve gone in life, every time I come home Taco D is one of my top priorities. The manager always remembers my order and already has it up on the screen when I get to the register. Supreme nachos, no jalapeños and guac on the side. 🤣 Now that is customer service.
I’ve been coming here most of my life. Hasn’t changed much from when I was a kid, 50 now. In a town that’s ever changing Taco D has been a place I can go feel a bit nostalgic and get a decent meal. You’re not just making tacos, it’s so much more. Thank you for the lifetime of memories.

Used to love this place growing up! Stopped in today with hubby and got 4 tacos. Not even 15mins after eating we were throwing up. It was bad!!! Soo sad a historic place like this is no longer great…

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in Granbury. It is fast food, but you wouldn’t know it by how good it is. They have been at this location for many many years and the food is spectacular. The staff is very friendly and most times you can see one of the owners there working the drive-through window. Very good food and definitely a better alternative to other similar fast food restaurants in my opinion.

Taco D is my go-to for local tex-mex fast food in Granbury. I like the chicken quesadillas (you can get spicy or mild) for a quick meal. The owner is often there working, and the employees are always friendly. A great hometown establishment for sure.
