Awesome little find out in rural Granbury but very well worth the trip! Mark does a phenomenal job with his daily menu of a seafood, chicken, and red meat and changes the choices daily. Food here is amazing, but his side-kick, Lauren is one of the most energetic servers I've seen in quite a while. Definitely will be returning!

Food was okay. It was quite overpriced. I got a chicken pasta dish that had only a few tiny "almost a joke they were so small" strips of chicken. The chicken had great flavor, but I just couldn't believe how little there was for $25. The pasta was good if eaten with a bite of chicken or caper, but alone, it was flavorless. Don't think we'll be back. It also took a very long time to get the food. I did tell them I wasn't happy with what we got, and they gave a $5 discount but that didn't make it right in my opinion. Friendly staff, just not for us anymore. It also tends to get pretty loud since the building is small.

Absolutely love this place. I sat at the bar, Sarah greeted me w a handshake and introduced herself. Very simple but hip atmosphere. I had the ribs and del Frisco salad( tomatoes and mozzarella with balsamic and arugula..so good. And the presentation is nothing short of a work of art. Excellent.!!!!

There were 9 of us. We ALL enjoyed our appetizers (stuffed avocado with crab and bbq shrimp). Entrees were filet, pork belly pasta, and caprese salad. For dessert, blackberry, and blueberry cobbler. Yum all the way around. Service was amazing as well. Definitely going back.

Top notch place - locally owned and run. The food is fresh, not pre-made…the food is made when ordered. The menu changes daily/weekly with what is available locally. 3-4 appetizers and 3-4 mains. The owner is fantastic and the servers are real and love their patrons. This is our date place

Food was outstanding! I had the fish and my husband had the meatloaf. We shared the fried zucchini and enjoyed it. My fish was cooked perfectly and was very good. My husband said the meatloaf was outstanding. He has never ordered meatloaf in a restaurant but he was intrigued by the description. He was very glad that he ordered it. We will be back!

817 offers fresh, quality food to attract customers willing to pay a bit more for a unique, quality dining experience. However, that was not our experience. Downbeats: My one star was for the appetizer ribs that were very good. No stars for the Elevated Marbles as they were salty, had too little of both the pablano cream and duroc pork. 12 each x2Headliners: No stars for the Still Smokin as it was basically a large bowl of pasta with a spoonful of bacon on top for 22$.And 2 of ordered the Tribute to air guitar that we both agreed to give no stars as the steak was extremely raw, the asparagus was thick and woody$38 each×2 The waitress asked if we wanted the steak remade and we agreed, then she returned and said we could have a free dessert instead. So we were going to order the Blackberry Smoke, but she said they were out of smoked whipped cream ? odd because they had just opened so why were they out? Also, the menue is changes daily so why do you have a dessert on it that you don't have? Not worth $150. Trying to be something your not...just very over priced for the food value.
