I do not recommend this place
I literally never leave reviews but, no thanks to this place, what a joke….
This was one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve had. If you’re going to allow kids in and charge a cover, you should at least be able to feed them. We waited over an hour for food, only to be told it was “on hold.” Then we were told it might be another hour and a half before they even know if they can serve food at all. That’s completely unacceptable, especially with children.

I have fallen in love with this place!! Monica is always so amazing!!! I can ask her what food is great or what drink she recommends and she always comes through! Absolutely love the Irish old-fashioned!! I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t been in! Ask for Monica-she won’t steer you wrong!!

The Pub McDonough is a great, cozy, and welcoming little place with an authentic Irish pub atmosphere. It is a favorite hangout, known for its delicious food including the fantastic fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, and decadent chocolate cake. The service is second to none. This hidden gem in Granbury has excellent traditional Irish food and drinks, with a great atmosphere and interesting decor. It is a highly recommended spot that never disappoints, nailing both good food and good ambience.
