I will update this review post when I come back in the summer to buy one of each of their chè to satisfy my cravings. ?Ummm ...The name of this place is pretty obvious that they specialize in Vietnamese chè, a type of dessert. I am not sure why folks come to order other food and expect it to be good when it's a Vietnamese dessert shop. I must come there for their chè trôi nước and other Vietnamese chè. The guy owner once told me years ago that his family in Vietnam has been cooking and selling chè for generations. He uses his mom's family secret recipe. I have tasted many homemade versions and versions from different Vietnamese dessert shops, but this place makes it best. It's all about the texture of the glutinous rice, consistency of cassava and tapioca, and the coconut milk are always fresh since they only make enough for the day. When I rate this, I rate it based on the desserts they are known for and specialized in.

A small cafeteria style, to-go-only place by the east entrance ("Hong Kong" sign), on right side, before the grocery store. Great selections of items, including Vietnamese desserts. Roast pork is delicious - crispy in outside, flavorful & juice inside! $11.99/lb. There are family size dishes wrapped & ready for grab & go. They have limited common flavors of boba smoothies for $5.50, a whole cup full, to the top of the plastic cup cover. We enjoyed our taro boba. The staff was helpful with limited but sufficient ability to communicate. Don't let the simple-functional-not-so-pretty interior fool you, their food won't disappoint you!

The guy behind the counter is very rude, and this is not the first time either. Besides, their food is not that good for anyone to put up with that kind of service and attitude. They've lost my business forever.

To go only. From Cantonese bbq of pork and ducks to Vietnamese comfort food and Vietnamese traditional desserts and of course Vietnamese coffee, they have it all here. The to go food can be plated lunch/dinner with your choices of entrees and come with steam rice. Or if entree only, they have 2 sizes container, $6 or $8 as if 2023. Cash or credit card (but you have to buy more than $10?) get their vegetarian veggies stir fry with tofu (đồ chay xào đậu hũ), so good over steamed rice!

The roast pork taste so bad, too hard and too dry, not chewy at all, I can’t believe I even tried them. The worst decision I have made on that day!

Had the fried rice and it was ok. Vermicelli with pork was also ok. People not friendly or welcoming.

I got 3 items with rice for $9 for the first time. I got Xiu Mai ( meat ball), braised fish, and stirred fry bean sprout. They gave me quite a bit of food that last me two meals. Despite other reviews, they were really nice to me. Also take Credit card which is a plus at Vietnamese restaurant. Will come back to try more

Roast pork is ok, but don't try char siu, chinese barbecue pork. It's pretty bad, dry and hard.
