Went after work for something different, we got the shrimp nachos and chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. The cashier was very nice and the food was ready in about 10 minutes. The bag was heavy as they stuffed the plates. The nachos were pretty good and it was a lot of food. I tried some of the rice and the chicken quesadilla. I like the rice and I thought the quesadilla was a good size. Americanized Mexican food but I enjoyed it and would go back since it was cheap and tasted good.

Love fire tacos ? ? so sad they aren’t available on Uber eats anymore ? not sure why ? but it’s worth the drive there for me! I’ve tried so many taco places and theirs are consistently the best! ⭐️ good portions, fresh tacos, and great salsa!

Today my family and I Bought several plates from fire taco's. A Barbacoa burrito and two Barbacoa plates. The Barbacoa had way too much fat and had a horrible taste to it. The rice and beans were cold. The meal was just very unpleasant and made my stomach upset.

Tacos were good. Wish they had a milder sauce option. Red is very hot & green is extremely hot.

I'm almost ashamed to admit that I've eaten there 3x this week. Their street tacos are

For a convenient store gas station taco place, this place is delicious! I had carnitas, shrimp, and chicken tacos with rice and beans and a churro for $15. It is annoying they only take cash but if you are like me going in to buy beer you can get cash back. Not an issue for me.

The food is great when they don’t mess up your order which happens frequently. Or when they have everything they need, which they seems to always be out of churros. Today I walk over and they’re only taking cash and the cashier only tells me this after I sit there and place my order then says I can use the atm as if I’m going to pay the fee from the atm and then my own bank for tacos.

The service is really fast but honestly I wouldn't be back. The tacos were okay but not amazing. I got 3 different kinds of tacos and the fajita was the best one. The green salsa and the beans were good. The pastor was my least favorite and the barbacoa was soft and juicy but lacking flavor. They could definitely improve with more flavor and better prices. Overall an average experience and average food, nothing special but nothing terrible.

I ordered the carved asada and was so disappointed. My 10 year old daughter and I agreed that the meat was tougher than dog jerky and barely edible. I can't believe people are actually enjoying this place. When I called back to speak to the manager about the dissatisfaction and horrible quality of food, I was told they didn't know when the manager would be in all week. The service was worse than the food.

I was not a big fan of their tacos. I got the Barbacoa, Al Pastor, and Fajita. The Barbacoa was the most bland and the Al Pastor was so crunchy. The fajita was just meh. I was very disappointed. Also, the tacos are super tiny for over $2.

This place is AMAZING!! I am from Brownsville, TX... On The Border, By The Sea.. And I’ve spent lots of time throughout Mexico, and Matamoros was my second home growing up.. So, I know authenticity when I see it, and Fire Tacos is LEGIT.Their al pastor is my typical go-to, but today I decided to add a barbacoa taco to my usual 8 al pastor tacos as well as a gordita de al pastor which I believe they just started offering, and Oh My Sweet Lord, was that the BEST gordita I have EVER had, and the barbacoa taco was easily one of the BEST barbocoa tacos I’ve ever experienced. The gordita was a work of PERFECTION.. Just the right amount of crisp along with a hefty portion of meat topped with super fresh shredded lettuce and delectable pico de gallo...... ? From now on, I will INVARIABLY order gorditas along with my tacos, and whenever I’m jonesing for award-winning barbacoa tacos, now I have my spot. Properly done barbacoa is so hard to come by outside of STX and Mexico, so I am extremely pleased to have discovered the quality of their barbacoa today.Additionally, the staff is absolutely delightful, and the establishment noticeably clean which I find both to be indispensably important. The owner mentioned to me that menudo would soon be on the menu, but I forgot to ask about that today, so not sure if it’s already available or not and whether weekend only or not, but I’m excited to find out!Lastly, their salsa verde doña is the BEST in DFW, hands down....... and I’m already convinced that everything else on their menu that I haven’t yet tried is likely LA BOMBA as well...... ? I would be shocked if otherwise; this place rocks.
