This was our first visit to any Golden Chick. We tried it because it was close to the house and convenient on the way home. It is attached to the end of the Exxon gas station. When we walked in around dinner time, there was 1 person inside eating and no one else. The service was nothing special. They just took our order as if we interrupted them. They food came out in a reasonable amount of time, but the reason for the 3 stars is the portion size. If you look at the photos, these tenders are probably the smallest tenders of any tender place I've been to, and the mashed potatoes were like 1/3 full. Then, when we started eating, the chicken was overcooked and dry. The rolls were very good. I know Golden Chick is a staple in Texas and maybe my visit isn't a true representation of how they usually are, but based on my first ever visit with all the issues, I probably won't return and stick to the other tender locations. That's what makes it good for consumers, lots of choices. For businesses, without good customer service and fresh hot food, consumers will look elsewhere. Hope this helps in your decision making.

They close and lock the doors early. Tried going at 9:35 and doors were locked. If you're gonna go, they'll just close up shop whenever.

I went through the drive-thru and i ordered for 3 of us. This was my very first time visiting This location. Everything came out within a timely manner. My food didn't taste as I anticipated because I had the craving for chicken and gravy, and they did not put gravy in any of the three of the meals. (The gravy is critical in this meal.) So I had dry chicken, dry rolls, dry fries. That is why this location gets a poor rating from me.

Christofer was very kind and friendly in drive thru and our order had no mistakes. Quick service too. Really appreciate that. The golden chick in south Grand Prairie always messes up and has terrible customer service. Will be returning to this one more often.
This place is new and very clean inside. The food is fresh and hot. the employees are very accommodating and show great hospitality if your food takes a little longer to cook. My new go to spot for lunch.
