Hong Kong Bakery is located inside the HK supermarket adjacent to Asia Time Square. They freshly prepare and bake items daily, such as Vietnamese French bread, pastries, and cakes. This family owned place has been around for a long time due to their meticulous attention to detail on all their baked goods. They offer Vietnamese iced coffee that is perfect for your early mornings that can easily give you the perfect jump start to your day. They also have fried egg rolls and a wide variety of breads to choose from and serve steamed pork buns. There are a couple of tables and chairs outside for you to enjoy your coffee and snacks. They also have additional seating inside the market as well. They also take cake orders for your next birthday, anniversary, or just any special event. Customer service is great, and they do a wonderful job in providing top customer service. I highly recommend checking out this place for your next trip to HK market, and I guarantee you will find something you enjoy in this bakery.

We LOVE this place. Great prices & variety of items. We always come here when we're in the area to get the green gelatin dessert, the meat pastries (pies), shrimp Spring rolls, & crunchy pork eggrolls. The Asian breads are also great, always fresh & so soft. They do take credit card, but I pay cash whenever I can since their prices are so low. You can't get eggrolls at any local restaurants for 50cents each!!! They are so good & fresh. The meat pastries are must try, only $2.50! you'd pay $6-8 each at a fancy French restaurant. They're reasonably friendly & polite, NEVER rude, but communication is limited due to language barrier. Just keep in mind, that you can't expect them to chat with you or elaborate on anything.

Misleading opening times.

Not the best bakery, but prices are affordable. I like their sesame balls. They have 3 flavors: red bean, mung bean, and sesame with coconut. The sesame with coconut is more unique in my opinion since you don't commonly see it, but overall all were delicious. Each is $0.75.Also tried their bánh bột lọc and bánh it tran. Neither were that good. The bánh bột lọc was really hard, even when heated at home in the microwave, it was still hard. Also, I'm not a fan of the shrimp (which was an itty bitty piece) inside still having it's shell on. For the bánh it tran, it's supposed to have meat in it, and oddly enough, I think there was only 1 with meat and it and again, it was a tiny piece of meat. Otherwise, the rest of the bánh it tran we're filled with mung bean which isn't what it's traditionally filled with. It's a very small, cramped shop. They have a variety of other breads and treats. I mainly only stop by whenever I come to the Asia Time Square during their Chinese New Year celebrations, otherwise, I wouldn't go out of my way to specifically come to this bakery.

I always loved the pastries sold here even though the place looks unsanitary but my last experience shock me, after paying for the pastries the owner of the shop spat on the floor twice right in front of my eyes, u read right in front of all the pastries and i can swear the spit got on some of them...I did not eat it and would never return.

Lol y'all need to do better on customer service. The attitude of the lady was kind of rude and annoyed when I asked questions even though I asked in Vietnamese.Plus THEY DONT WEAR GLOVES!!! Yeah i saw in my own eyes! The man loads the breads with bear hands. The lady also the cashier rolls the spring rolls and spreads out the ingredients with bare hands and later check me out and touch cash.Oh well, I will never come back here again. Not worth it

The egg rolls are my favorite but there are a lot of other great baked goods. My wife loves the red bean buns.

Lady at the register is extremely rude, and not subtly, but rather overtly so.Not sure if it’s because I’m not Vietnamese. No one is forcing you to sell anything if you don’t want to.

Delicious bread and pastry but the place is untidy plus the cashier is not friendly!

Rude & Unsanitary! The cashier was on the phone chit chatting ignoring me at the checkout. When I gave her the pastry to check out she literally just keep talking on the phone and just holding the pastry. I asked her "How much is it ma'am?" She rudely said "$3" and proceeded to talk on the phone. I also noticed the guy in the back shoving ice to a bucket with his bare hands. Some of the food containers were plastic and not food safe! Eat at your own risk.

Like other unpleasant reviewers, this place is a joke, the old lady there is rude if you are not vietnamese and my husband wanted a taro bread, apparently they just want money but not the quality of food,my husband complained that they only put little bit taro and he just ate bread not taro bread !! And I know they overcharged me for just three breads and the pork dumpling and the dumplings are all hard to chew, not fresh! We won't go back here again! These people are Vietnamese, not from Hong Kong where I am coming from, their bakery is nothing compared to my hometown Hong Kong Bakery!! Shame on them to put even " Hong Kong" as their business name!!!

I've just found a place as cheap as it could be. These snacks treats remind me of my childhood.

This was my first visit here. I was excited to try some of the yummy looking bun treats here, but when I picked one up (it was sealed in their liner) there was a little roach underneath it so I said nevermind. Silly me was so anxious to just move on and try something else in a different location of the bakery so I purchased 6 small steamed pork buns in a container for $8. Got them home only to split it open and see how dried looking the pork filling was, and saw mold on the bottom! Threw the whole container away, thankfully I didn't try them! I'm good on this place. Eat/buy at your own risk. You have been warned.
