Service was fast and friendly, place was clean. Fries were good. Greens (kale) and cornbread were very bland. Greens should have been strained before being served. Got the vhilly cheesesteak, it was not good. Bun should have been toasted, steak should have been sliced thin, instead it was still in chunks. Should have leaned into peppers and onions. I tried a couple bites of everything and then straight in the trash.

and i love supporting a black-owned business.
I live about an hour away but i always go for my birthday and any time im on that side of town. 10/10 so worth it.

The Vhilly cheesesteak (like Philly cheesesteak) was amazing. I had a side of collard greens which was also very good. I would definitely come back to try the rest of their southern vegan fare.

I grabbed the chicken fried steak with yams and Mac and cheese. The chicken fried steak is on a bed of mashed potatoes and smothered in gravy. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The potatoes had a great texture and the gravy was very flavorful. The taste of the yams was great. The mac and cheese werenāt for me.

The food was good but my first experience with this place isn't great. I went in to order, don't get me wrong, the people greeting you are nice. I actually think those were the owners in there on this day. Their system was down and had no back-up methods to keep things running smoothly. I really needed a receipt for budgeting purposes, left my contact info, but haven't received one yet. Have to do better than just the kiosk for ordering purposes because people have to wait on others.
They definitely need to establish a back-up plan. Internet/WiFi is not dependable all the time. A back-up generator system for loss of power as well. With what they charge for the food, I am sure they could afford these things. However, nice people, good food.

I love this food! I brought my vegetarian brother from Seattle here and he loved the vegan chicken, kale greens, gravy, cornbread, mac n cheese, cabbage, yams, chocolate cake, and he ordered food to go, including an oreo cheesecake. This food is so good, I still can't believe all that soul food is vegan.

I had the Salisbury steak with Mac and cheese and greens, my wife had the fish sandwich and dad had the chicken sandwich. It honestly is the best vegan home cooking I've had at a restaurant. We will be back!!!
Omg the food was hot, fresh, and scrumptious. My daughter and I had Mac and cheese, greens, cornbread, and mash potatoes with gravy. The young man cashier had phenomenal customer service and offered to bring our food to the car. I'm new to the area and will return again soon.

I am writing this review a year after I was there the service and food wasnāt as desired at allā¦ the presentation didnāt look good or I know I order 3 different items and the food was skimpy and didnāt have much flavor to it.. the reason me and my sister were reminiscing on vegan spots we visited and this one came up, I would have like to see if there was a change in the way the service and food looked and tasteā¦
Came here to pick up an order for Uber eats keep in mind this is how I make my money I accept the order because it was just ONE SANDWICH Got there at 6 they took 35 min to give me the order definitely so mad at this situation yall didnāt even had no people in there ,

I just the fish sandwich, Mac n cheese and sweet potatoes. All of the were delicious š Strawberry cheese cake š° is a no for me but donāt knock it until you try it. Jerrodās welcome was so warm and sweet. I love his personality and Joseph the cook you really did an amazing job š¤© Thank you for making my vegan dinner delicious.
