Went for a drink after work with my cousin. It was middle of the afternoon so it was quiet and the waitress was attentive without being pushy or interrupting. Good mixture of music. Drinks were ok, not the best but tolerable.
Like that song goes "I love this bar". Lot of good memories here. Everyone from GP knows about Mary's. Should be a historical Marker it's been there so long. Good people, good music and the drinks are strong ?
I'm a trucker, and used to be based in Grand Prairie. When I was in town, I would normally go to their competition, Jack's Pour House, but if I didn't like the crowd at Jack's, I'd slip on over to Mary's. They're both decent little dive bars, and are very similar, with a lot of the same patrons. I've been off the road for about 6 months, but remembered these places, so I thought I'd leave reviews.
