Had two meat for a decent price. I got the brisket dry no sauce. this brisket is really tough rubbery like and salty. The sausage has an overcooked texture and look. The beans were ok because I ate them with the brisket to kill the salt but the beans could use a bit of anything they tasted like water and green beans definitely straight out the can on to the plate. Great customer service the lady was really nice and even gave me a free water. Really hope they get this food quality together because this place can be great with food quality being the only major flaw. I’ve spent 15 bucks for this plate and I can’t even finish it half way, and for that I can’t come back, sorry guys good luck

I used to Drive long haul Tractor trailer, solo , cross country. I have eaten BBQ in every Bbq restaurant across the entire United States ! One day as many I was looking for a place to eat and a place big enough I could park my loaded truck ! My eyes saw a big dusty dirt parking lot with a BBQ sign ! Yup I said have not been here but have heard other drivers talk good things about this place! My honest opinion of Mikes is just this …. The Absolute Best BBQ in the Country! Hands down ! Thanks Mike and bbq crew !

I stopped by based on reviews I read. I had brisket and a hot link with green beans and pinto beans as my sides. All of my food was really good. The pinto beans were particularly flavorful. Including a bottle of water and the tip my bill was less than $16

I stopped in via a Google search for BBQ while I was nearby. The ratings were great so I gave it a shot. There is a lot out back with plenty of parking.I dropped in between lunch and dinner and had the place to myself. I tried the 3 meat plate with brisket, turkey, and ribs. All of the meats were great, but surprising to me (since I prefer brisket), the ribs were my fav and they paired very well with the homemade BBQ sauce. The prices were very reasonable.The fine folks running the establishment were very warm, conversational, and made me feel right at home. I took some leftovers to-go, along with some additional sauce :) . I'll be back when in the area.Parking: It's a rough and patchy open lot, but otherwise it was easy to find a spot. I think you'd be just fine finding a spot during the busier lunch/dinner time slots, too.

Location is dirty.. meat wasn’t cooked fully and very little favor. Honestly after seeing how nasty and unclean it was.. only took one bit and the rest was given to dogs.

The owner is a very nice person who makes sure that you are served plenty of food. The food is very good and plenty. The atmosphere was nice and home felt. I will go back and tell others about it.
First time trying this spot. First off...not all reviews are accurate. Let's dive in, the ribs didn't taste as fresh. Ribs was a bit salty, potatoe salad was over powered by mustard. The corn, was cooked in water, no salt, sugar, or no butter. The green beans same thing. The brisket wasn't brisketing. The sausage was delicious but how do you mess that up. The ham was good too, but again how do you mess up ham. The bread was better than the sauce that everyone talked about. I'm sry, I'm from Florida I had such high expectations. The spot looked like a hole in the wall, but a lot of times thats where the best foods are. Sorry just not at Mike's, bbq pit! I think their should be more sides on the menu at all times. The two staff members that were there was the most nicest. But that not enough to make up for how the food taste. I feel like these reviews couldn't have been real, these might be reviews for family and friends. I'll never go back. What a waste of money. You be the judge, I warned you.

I always go through the Drive-In window my favorite is baked potato with all the trims and with brisket on it. It is a pretty big baked potato and very delicious yummy.

Best Barbeque ever. Super nice employees and awesome food. Definitely got our money's worth. We had the Lone Star Special. It was awesome. Loved it. Definitely going back again!!
