My husband and I went here to try a new place for lunch while visiting the Dallas area.( We have done a lot of traveling, We love to try new places to eat) It looks great online. Let me tell you, it’s salad, a salad you can buy anywhere! There was nothing special about the ingredients or choices!! There is no posting of prices except, 10.95 for regular, and a price for small on the plastic/glass partition . We got each a 10.95 salad. I’m not sure what we ordered, but we got salad ( mind you no posting of $$ if you get what they have on the “salad bar” ( servers make your salad for you, you just go down a line and tell them what you want in your salad) the cubed chicken seemed like it’s been frozen and thawed out, I inquired about the salmon and said it was cold- so I definitely knew that would be a No) we also got a small tomato soup( nothing to speak about either) and one tea. My husband said, my face was priceless when I got to the end to pay for it. Almost $50.00 for 2 salads! I looked at the receipt and seen what they charged, this is after the fact. I did not see anywhere where you would be charged for the “extra” chicken, quinoa ( you get a small spoon full) in the restaurant, so please keep in mind or ask!! Again, it’s a salad ( Golden Corral or any restaurant for that matter has just as good of a salad bar, honestly!!! ) We have to laugh about, It’s salad!

Warning ⚠️ Very Thorough Review⬇️ This Salata was clean and well stocked when we arrived around 11:30 am (they open at 11:00 am)
• When you enter there is seating to the right and the salad line to the left. • You start by choosing your main salad base: 1. Salata Mix or 2. Hearts of Romain
• Next you will choose from hundreds of toppings. Some I remember were: sun dried tomatoes, fresh chopped tomatoes, walnuts, chickpeas, jalapenos, corn, cucumbers, carrots, peas, bell peppers, Radish, banana peppers, black beans, green olives, and a bunch more.
• Somewhere near the end of the large Subway style salad bar you will choose an optional protein ⚠️Meat cost $3-$5 extra⚠️ but they do have a good selection, some I remember are: Steak, Grilled Chicken, Pesto Chicken, Quinoa, Crab meat, and Salmon. Note: bacon bits are free.
• The service was very good we were helped by Jonathan and Isaac, see picture. Both were helpful and friendly!
• Even when getting a to-go salad they mix it for you (a small detail that my wife and I appreciated).
If you are looking for a budget salad this is not it, but if you want a FANTASTIC portion size and fresh ingredients at a fair price, this is a good option. I would say what sets them apart is the large salad and the plethora of salad topping options. Every salad eater should try Salata at least once! Enjoy!!

Ordered through uber eats for the Mansfield location somehow my order got sent to the Grand Prairie location. Contacted the store and Isaac answered the phone. He gave me all my options on how to fix it. We canceled one order and I redid the order again for delivery. In all this Isaac showed nothing but patience and kindness. He was very understanding and even attempted to reach his manager for options on how to help. He even placed a hand written note in one of my containers. This is true customer service and should be celebrated as this kind of customer service is rare these days. Mind you this was my first time trying Salata and because of Isaac I'll definitely be coming back. If Isaac isn't a manager then he should be because he handled the situation with grace and kindness. As for my salad it was absolutely amazing and you can tell it was made with care.
Salata in Grand Prairie is a gem! The culture is warm and welcoming, the staff is incredibly polite, and the restaurant is clean, fresh & crisp veggies. Highly recommend for a lunch option!
