The Pozole was delicious! Pork tamales were also very good! Go before 2p on Saturdays because she runs out of some of the items on the menu. Very friendly. Oh & three of us ate on $32

People think cause this is Texas that the Mexican food is good here. But thats from from truth. But I searched high and low for good tacos and birria tacos this lady blows everything out the water in the DFW. Someone needs to do a food blog on her.

This place is known for Birria Tacos, however I have yet to try them! That is the next thing I will be trying. I want to comment on the Tamales, they are AMAZING!! Enough meat, juicy, & flavorful! As a Hispanic myself I can definitely say these are homemade authentic tamales! They are $15.50 (including taxes) which is very reasonable for a dozen. Give them a shot you won't regret it!

Like other reviewers here, I went for the Birrira Tacos. Like others, I was impressed with them! When the gps said we were here, I thought there was a mistake... Sonny's convenience store and some weird pool hall or gentleman's club across the street. Honestly had second thoughts going in. But the promise of great tacos overcame all of my fears, and I wasn't disappointed.
unexpectedly really good birria taco shop. cashier accidentally rang me up for an order of 3 tacos when i ordered 4. she declined my payment when i offered to pay for the fourth taco she didn't ring up. customer service like that doesn't even exist anywhere anymore!

The prices have gone up a bit, they are located inside of a corner store. Nothing wrong with that at all but it's just not the most ideal depending on your situation. They cook pretty fast and are very friendly every time I go good people good food!

Try not to be intimidated by the security bars on the gas station windows. We always order fajitas when we try a Mexican restaurant for the first time. These did not disappoint. The flavor was beautiful. We ordered the spicy version, which I think meant it had jalapeños in it. The chips with seasoning were nothing like we’ve tasted. Add the green salsa to the chips and it’s a flavor explosion that will leave you speechless.

I'm not going to lie I did not want to go onto this store judging by the outside, but wow I got the taco plate and a birria taco on the side and it was so delicious!!! My husband got the torta and he loved his meal. Don't let the outside deter you, the food here is great!!!
