The room smelled as if someone smoked in it and then sprayed something to try to mask the odor. It was horrific. Furthermore, we found pieces of dog food in the bathroom, which caused us to question the level of sanitation (not) done to the room. We immediately contacted the front desk only to be told that they were short staffed in housekeeping as the reason the dog food was there. The person at the front desk did not as much as offer to move us to another room. We only stayed because it was late and we did not know the area at all to determine another (better) hotel would be in proximity to our reason for being in the area.

Awesome hotel, very clean! Personnel at the desk were very friendly and helpful! Awesome location as close to Potters house that we could get! Great Italian food st a little hole in the wall not far away!

Great rooms and amenities (Pool and hot tub), but a horrible hot breakfast. How horrible ? Heated Jimmy Dean sausage patty muffins (WAAAY too much bread and very little meat). Decent parking and what looked to be upgraded rooms

Went on Priceline.com and made a booking and paid for it on Priceline. Booking.com owns Priceline sent the same booking number that matched my Priceline booking to LaQuinta under Booking.com. Went to my bank account and saw that LaQuinta double charged me for the room that I already paid for on Priceline. The staff refused to fix the problem stating that since it came from Booking.com that they had to hold an additional EQUAL FOR THE ROOM amount on my credit card. Never heard of such a thing EVER!!! Their logic is that since their e-mail was from Booking and not Priceline that they can't fix it and I have to wait 3-5 days for it to get back on my card. News for these idiots... PRICELINE IS OWNED BY BOOKING.COM IT'S THE SAME COMPANY!!!!!!

Room was not the cleanest. Was disappointed given that we stayed in this same hotel in October of 2019 and it was absolutely perfect then fast forward to April 2021 and it was not the cleanest and our room had a bad odor as well.

Very nice and clean Hotel, which could have less noisy guests. I like the outdoor pool even thought I have not tried. Location is great close to the EPIC waterpark where I meant to go , and easy access from tor to the highway

This hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff is awesome and very helpful as well as u understanding. The assistant manager VANESSA JENNIFER AND MELISSA WERE THE BEST ! They were able to find a way to keep me as a guest and accommodate me with extending my room and making sure I had food during the winter storm blast due to me not having access to a vehicle and my flights being cancelled for multiple days in a row not once but TWICE ! They made sure that all guest were taken care of in the best ways possible during this STATE OF EMERGENCY STORM. They even provided subway for the guests if needed. I definitely enjoyed my stay here at the Laquinta south Grand Prairie and will be back soon ?

Fantastic breakfast and friendly night staff that is very accommodating and knowledgeable. The only thing that displeased me was the snobby and unfriendly morning manager lady [only one not wearing a vest]
