We were in the Grapevine area dropping off a customer’s vehicle and decided to stop in at Bartley’s BBQ — and man, are we glad we did! The brisket was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor, and the jalapeño cheddar sausage was out of this world — juicy with just the right amount of heat and cheese. Spent the first 10 minutes chatting with Larry at the counter and learning all about how they do their brisket. They cut back, waaaay back, on the salt in the rub because, "Salt just dries it out a peck." Flavor on the brisket is good. Pure smoke, beef, and nothing else.
