Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, a once-great restaurant and country store, has seen a decline in quality since the pandemic. While the friendly staff and servers are commendable, there have been issues with food preparation and service standards. The pancakes were good, but the cold syrup and bacon were disappointing. However, the chicken and dumplings and meatloaf on the sampler plate were highlights. With improvements in service and food quality, this restaurant has the potential to regain its former glory.
