Drove up to Cougar Bar & Grill today with hopes of supporting them on Thanksgiving Day. So sad to see the CLOSED sign, but chuckled to see "F$$K Inslee" on the reader board. Hope it's not a permanent closure with another small restaurant biting the dust thanks to government overreach and hysteria.
This is a great dinner located on the road leading to the lava beds. Good place to stop by. The food is dinner type with hamburgers and other sandwiches made from fresh ingredient. Prices are more then reasonable considering the size of the servings. Waitress was great. Well worth a stop.

Had a wonderful greeting by the most gracious, attentive server we have ever had. Two excellent burgers and decent onion rings. The atmosphere was pleasant with interesting decor on the walls. With a town with few options this place was a nice find.
