We went here on a Saturday night 3/7/26 and my husband was handed a menu and we looked it over we decided our take out order and when handing the menu back the woman says they shut the kitchen down and we’re not cooking anymore and it was 9:30 their hours say 10pm.We have lived in the area for a few years and have eaten here quite a lot mostly take out spending quite a bit for our family but we will not be going back after this.We have both worked in the restaurant business before and know that the kitchen closes when the last customer is served at closing time.I guess our money and faithfulness to frequent their restaurant did not matter to them

Margarita, chips & sausa, and food all good!! Let's break it down.
Margarita definitely competition level!
Chip and sausa came with a queso, I don't eat spicy so I was excited I got the flavor and not the burn.
Unfortunately I don't recall the meal I ordered but it was fantastic all around.
The service was great I'm not going to lie I pointed to what I wanted their is a language barrier. Don't let the language barrier shy you away.

Me and My Husband plus Our Youngest Son ate dinner there and it was so Good! We all got Enchiladas Plates and they were so wonderful. We really enjoyed it.
This is one of the more popular restaurants in town, and of the 4 Mexican restaurants, it's the nicest one, as far as atmosphere.

Stopped here for lunch on our way through from Rockport heading back to Waco. There chips and Salasa was better then I've ever had a restaurant. I had to get me a order of it to go. I had the quesadillas and let me to tell you, they was so damn good that they put me into a food coma. Husband is picky and he didn't complain about 1 thing and kept going on how good it was. We will definitely stop here on our next trip through.

On Tuesday 7/22/2025, at noon, I went in and placed an order for 2 chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce, rice and beans. The gentleman spoke little English, to me, but to others he spoke much clearer. I PAID $25.11 for a LUNCH MEAL. When I got back to work, the box contained rice and beans and some strange, white gravy, with fresh purple onions and cubed chicken. No tortilla wrapped chicken. The gravy was extremely bland. I have no fridge at work and felt I could not return this blend of blech! The only edible thing was the chips and guacamole. Just absolutely a waste of money. Oh, and the next people who walked in, he greeted them, and spoke to them in very good English. I felt robbed!!
