Sat there for 30 min on lunch break and nobody informed of the wait. Appetizer never came. First time and last time.

Realize when you come here, you're gonna be greeted with a little bit of sarcasm and joking. The food is homemade and it is very good.

Very small, busy diner. We were able to find a seat right away, but it took a long while for the food to arrive. We stopped for a quick breakfast but ended up being there for over an hour. The food and service were good. The pancakes were really good with a nice crisp edge all the way around. The bacon was cooked perfectly, and my husband's bobcat omelet with homemade salsa was good.

My husband and were traveling from Florida to Texas and in an effort to bypass some traffic slowdown on I-20 we ended up driving through Hallsville. Since it was lunchtime we stopped at Miss Minnie’s and had THE best meal we’d had in ages. So good, in fact, that on our return trip we set our gps for Hallsville and stopped for lunch again. It’s just a few miles north of the interstate and well worth the detour.

Miss Minnie's Cafe is the place for a truly hometown feel - no matter where you're from, we're family inside. I usually go in the mornings, having eggs over easy, tasty, thick bacon, grits, and the most golden, crispy edged pancakes I've ever had. Miss Minnie's short on the "huh," but abundant with sass and salsa (actually, not sure about salsa, but you gist). You'll eat well, share some laughs, and be treated like family (maybe family reunion family, but definitely family).

The pancakes were amazing. Perfectly cooked. Fluffy, light and crispy on the bottom. Will be back for more. I highly recommend the "all you can eat" on Saturday. We need a Minnie's in Dallas.

Very delicious! In town visiting relatives who suggested we go there! A+++++
Breakfast is great. We always drive in when in town for work. Service is hilarious - insults are part of the charm/bit. Don’t take it seriously.
