I’ve been to this restaurant several times and always order the same deep-fried sushi roll. In the past, they’ve prepared it the way I requested—either uncut or cut only in half.
On this visit, the roll was cut differently, including the ends, which caused the filling to fall out when I picked it up. I politely asked if it could be remade the way it had been on my previous visits. I even showed photos and videos from my earlier orders to explain what I meant.
After the roll was sent back, I heard someone in the kitchen yelling. The waitress told me, “This is how they make it.” The manager then told me they wouldn’t charge me for the sushi roll, but also said I couldn’t order anything else and asked me to leave.
I appreciated not being charged, but I was disappointed by how the situation was handled. I wasn’t trying to get free food I simply wanted my order prepared the way it had been on previous visits. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling unwelcome, and I’m not sure I’ll be returning. i will never come back smh

Very unexpected and a pleasant surprise. It was just me and I did a-la-cart. A little pricey but the quality of the food what is worth it
Best I've had in town.
Service was great waiter was really nice.. the food lacked. The fried rice wasn't cooked properly.
The sushi was decent but I enjoyed the service

Not too busy at 7:41pm on a Saturday. Cute place.
If you don’t have anything else to do with your evening, and have TIME, I’m sure it would be a great place to sit and eat.
I’ve waited 30 + minutes for two specialty rolls. I guess it’s my fault for assuming it would’ve been a bit faster.
Leaving at 8:22pm with my meal to go…

Nice little Japanese food spot in the plaza.
I am not a fan of the barstool type chairs they have in their dining room.
Food was decent. Miso soup has very strong flavour.
Sauce on the OMG Tuna was a little too spicy for me (I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy).
Salmon sushi is good. Salmon roe sushi is not bad.
Their Japanese cheesecake looked and tasted like regular cheesecake.
Not too sure about the fresh wasabi either. I thought fresh wasabi is ground from the wasabi roots. The one they serve was not ground, but had little chunks in it like radish on a burger.
Service was good. Place was quiet when I went. Only two other tables occupied.
Overall, good dining experience.
