“It was great live it here“

“The honey butter croissants were definitely what made me want to go back! The flakey but still softness exceptional! I was a little put off by the fact that we ordered “broccoli cheese casserole” and got just regular broccoli and no communication as to why. They were really busy when we went and they communicated on the fact that appetizers were running behind (the cheese bites are amazing and queso fries are also good!)
It was our first time going and we went to celebrate my nephew’s birthday so we were a little crushed when the server told us they don’t sing “happy birthday” or participate in anyway, but other than that I think we’ll definitely try it again.

Parking: It’s packed.“

“We had a nice dinner here yesterday! We were a group of four people. The decor is interesting. I love historic and old architecture so the Barton House is fascinating to me. The food was delicious. The drinks were good too. The wine was a fine choice. Our waitress was friendly and nice. Dessert was scrumptious. I want to thank the wonderful lady with the son riding out the hurricane in Florida for dessert. I’m so sorry we didn’t get your name. We will definitely come back again! Thank you for an enjoyable experience!“

“Lilly Mae's has never let me down when it comes to the fried ribs. I had no idea where they had moved to after first having tried the food years ago, until I saw a couple of workers walk out of the back that I remembered. I knew then I was in the right place for Fried Ribs. My greens weren't as good as what I remembered, and my Mac in Cheese was ok. The banana pudding was also ok. The Kool-aid was on point, and the service was all with smiles. I felt like I was at home while waiting for my food. I recommend if you want the best Fried Ribs in town.“

“Holy cow! What a change! The last time we went to Golden Corral, I couldn't even rate the restaurant. This time was a whole other ball of wax; the management has changed, the food has gotten better, the service was tremendous, and waitstaff was quick to pick up empty plates and refill drinks . At one point we waited for rolls for a very very long time only because they had been swiped up as quick as they came out of the oven they were that good. Needless to say, I need to sit down so I went ahead and sat down kind of sort of watching for the rolls when lo and behold the baker brought them directly to us. Will Killeen doesn't have any 5-star restaurants per se, the Golden Corral sure is at the top of the list.
I guess that it will be one of our go-to restaurants going forward. Just can't wait till our next visit.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. Even though we didn't have any with us, those that were there were able to find tons of food as well as dessert options.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is, however, maneuvering through the food area was difficult, and being able to see the options from a chair was hard. It would have been 1000% better if just the tags on the food were correct.“
