I am so excited to write this review! My wife, daughter, best friend and I had the pleasure of dining in at your restaurant. This was our first experience with Texas BBQ! My friend is the pickiest eater in my experiences with eaters. He ate all of his brisket sandwich and fries. He really enjoyed it. I have to say that I am glad to have chosen your place to eat. We are from NC and your cuisine made our trip worthwhile! Thank you. Stay where you are and we will return when we get back to Harlingen! More love like this is needed in the world. I hate to say bad things about places or food. But I just got a 3 meat plate and both the chicken and ribs were not fresh and absolutely reheated from another day. Taste and quality were very bad. The brisket and Mac and potato salad were good. But that was it. I brought it up to the cashier while paying and he brushed me off. I really hope that this was an isolated incident. I want to give this spot another chance but for now I am disappointed.

This is a family run restaurant so they care about the business and want you to return so we are treated like family. The brisket is so tender you can cut it with a fork. Ribs are super meaty and tender and the chicken is cooked to perfection. This is my favorite BBQ restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
If you leave this place hungry, something’s wrong. I had the “largest” half chicken on a plate with two sides, charro beans and onion rings. Hubby had the brisket plate with macaroni and cheese and charro beans. Traveling companion had the brisket sandwich and corn on the cob. All of the meats were moist and well seasoned. The charro beans were delicious; the Mac & cheese, you could eat your weight in it; onion rings were nothing special. The bbq sauce was well balanced with sweet and a little heat.
Our second visit was as delicious as our first 6 months ago. Highly recommend.
