“It was a great evening. We had never been to Dos Olivos before, but it had always been on our list to try. The vibe is completely different from what you see through the windows—it always looked more like a market than a restaurant from the outside. I happened to see the link on Facebook for the Valentine's Day dinner and decided it was the perfect opportunity to check it out. We had always assumed it was just wine and charcuterie trays, but it turned out to be so much more. We will definitely be going back for another date night or a light dinner.”

About having our gathering there and if there was any restrictions on decorations or having a cake . Everything was great the staff , food , and the environment . We were seated and handed menus then owner/ manager comes to tell us the kitchen was "closed because they hadn't had anyone in over an hour, and bar was closed"(even though there was a bartender there). I told her we were from out of town after she told us to "come back another day". I was disappointed she didn't offer quick prep menu items or let us at least enjoy a glass of wine. Needless to say, I will never visit this establishment again. If you want to close earlier at least change your operation hours to reflect that and lock your doors at closing time.”

“Tenders were okay but tiny and a bit soft? I guess depending who the cook is im assuming becuase last week my sister ordered them and they were bomb also huge! Their homemade ranch dipping sauce is amazing kind of tastes like cheddars or gatties !!! By the way recommend Eli he is awesome ? and the restrooms are super clean!! Lastly, YOU CAN CALL AND RESERVE A TABLE SO JUST ASK WHAT IS THE TABLE NUMBER YOU WANT AFTER YOUR 1ST VISIT BUT IM NOT SURE HOW LONG BEFORE YOU CAN REQ IT?

“Although the night is not too busy i do enjoy coming to Applebee’s in Harlingen. The food is great and the service is exceptional. I do appreciate seeing all the hard work these employee’s do. As being in the restaurant undustry myself, i commend seeing the staff here be attentive and friendly. The manager, Jacob, is well driven and hands on. He went above and beyond to help his staff and that’s the kind of leadership every restaurant should have. I look forward to coming again.”

“I drove 28 miles from my house in Brownsville to Lara’s Bakery in Harlingen to buy sweet bread for my girlfriend who is under the weather. She loves their sweet bread. I arrived 10 minutes before Lara’s Bakery opened. There was a line of people waiting outside. This is how good tasting sweet bread is sold here. Two ladies attending the customers are fast and friendly. Majority of customers were taking boxes of sweet bread plus a couple of bags..”

“This was my family and I's first time to this location and what a nice experience it was. Maria was so wonderful, I wanted a cup of menudo with no meat just the juice and hominy and that's exactly what I got, other places tell me they can't do it but she went out of her way to deliver what I wanted. The service was excellent, coffees kept getting refilled. My family and I will definitely be returning.”

“5•9•25 came back and ordered the turtle chocolate was delish as last time and ordered the oreo wo/expresso. It definitely needs the expresso i ordered it without but if you have kids then I recommend this one with out the expresso don't want them to hypered. We didn't not order food but we did order the chillers and they were so good and frothy I really recomend this place the girls that were there did awesome on our drinks I ordered the turtle chiller and hubby ordered the white mocha was so good I can't wait till they open the scooters in our area in brownsville so much competition but customers know what they want they are all not the same. But I give scooters a big thumbs up. It is unfortunate that it is only drive thru no get down and order. Or do this online.”

We ordered a jalapeño wrap, a half tuna sandwich, a half chicken salad sandwich, and a nutty salad. Overall, the food was good but I think next time we will dine in and try something else on the menu. We were satisfied with the sandwiches and wraps but the salad wasn't anything to write home about. The interior of the restaurant looked super cute with a cozy vibe. I look forward to trying them again.”

If you know then you know. This place was definitely not that. Walking in I instantly noticed how clean and how it was decorated. It was a nice modern feel. We was instantly greeted and had a friendly conversation struck up. The owners was super awesome taking good care of the service at our table and being very friendly. “Food is good and so was service. I appreciate this being a food truck, however, since currently stationery, I would like to see more cover to be able to eat on-site. This option isn't a concern for all but I stopped here while traveling through town. I still recommend them.”

“This is on the Alejandro's in Harlingen. Bean & cheese tamales are lacking the ingredients mostly masa. The tacos{bacon& egg}lacking bacon mostly egg. Ur cheating the Consumer”

He’s super bubbly, but I truly appreciated how he used that energy to brighten my day. Matthew deserves to be recognized for the way he goes above and beyond with customer service. “I always have a good time here and the food is so so good. You can’t go wrong with the teppankayi, but my favorite dishes are the general tsao chicken, magnolian beef, and for sushi rolls my favs are: geisha, butter yellow tail, samurai fiesta, kiss of fire and red dragon roll! There’s half off sushi rolls every weekend and lunch specials during the week too so that’s a plus :)”
