“It's been a long time coming. I've wanted to try Dos Olivos for a few years (I'm from Mcallen) I would always pass by going to the island and today I was in Weslaco... I needed to try it today. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint the supervisor Angela was a great conversationalist to begin with and my server Alyssa was such a sweet soul, awesome server. The food was great, but the service was even better! I ordered the pork chicharon, the margarita vinagrete was not to spicy and tangy! I also ordered the Barbacoa Donuts to go! I couldn't resist I had one before I left, they were perfectly balanced just a little sweetness from the maiz and the home cooked Barbacoa brought it home 15/10 would order again.“

“Great place to be. Very good drinks and the Grapefruit Shandy is amazing! Very smooth and fresh taste. Followed up with killer Barbacoa Tacos from their Kitchen complemented with that spicy green salsa is awesome and oh don’t forget your margaritas phenomenal.“
