“The ambiance in this restaurant is ok, kind a dark for my taste. Expensive. Great meals, they offer water, wine, bread and entrees. Ceviche a little salty. If you like to watch the resaca, it’s very close, you can ask to b served outside. Recommend it.“
“Returning customer to this wonderful establishment. Started at the bar with appetizer and cocktails. I had stuffed flounder, and my wife had NY strip steak. Server Robert was very friendly and attentive to us. The only issue we encountered was that the meal arrived 9 minutes after our salad and soup. As we were not yet halfway through with them, our dinners sat on our table for 7 minutes before we began to eat our dinners.“
“This is a great place to eat with good atmosphere, good service, and a variety of seating options. I've sat indoors and outdoors here and had a great experience each time. They have unique pizzas (just be aware they are wood-fired and have crust typical of that style). I've had the scampi pizza (made with actual gulf shrimp!) and the chorizo pizza and both were delicious. We've also had the Meat and Cheese plate (very generously sized) and Grandma's Meatballs (not as generously sized) for appetizers. The cheesecake for dessert was also good. Each time, the server suggested a good wine pairing with the food. This is a plus, and I thought the suggestions worked out pretty well.If you're in downtown Brownsville, or in the RGV in general, I would seek this place out.“
