My husband and I went out for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter was attentive and never let us wait for anything. It was the best food that I have had in a long time. We had escargot for an appetizer. That was better than any place that we have had escargot before. Hubby had the prime rib and it was tender and juicy. I had the shrimp in wine and orange sauce. We went to celebrate my birthday. Ambience was good although lighting wasn’t enough. It was just too dark. Service; was not good at all. We either had a new waitress or waiter, not sure, or they just didn’t want to be at work that evening. Food; I had the filet mignon, md rare, and it was delicious. To be honest better than Landry’s. Returning customer to this wonderful establishment. Started at the bar with appetizer and cocktails. I had stuffed flounder, and my wife had NY strip steak. Server Robert was very friendly and attentive to us. The only issue we encountered was that the meal arrived 9 minutes after our salad and soup. As we were not yet halfway through with them, our dinners sat on our table for 7 minutes before we began to eat our dinners.
