“I love these subs! They’re as delicious as I ever remember while growing up in NJ. Perfect blend of sub roll (Parmesan is my choice), sandwich meats, cheeses, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper (“Mike’s Way”). The “Original Italian” takes me back to the good old days, hanging out in the park after wiffle ball, and eating subs from the local sub shop; or maybe sitting on the beach at Manasquan, just across from Point Pleasant, home of Mike’s original shop. “I have only been here twice, both times I very much enjoyed with my gf. Food was deliciously awesome. Service was good manager would also check up on us making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Prices are reasonable and on the weekends I believe they have live music. They have a patio for outside dining. Plenty of tables inside and there's always the bar as well. This my new favorite Italian restaurant.“
“The attendant was a multitasker.She took our orders and taking orders on the phone.She had an ear piece. Lol... I thought she was giving us extra subs. Jokes on me, when I asked her what all she was doing for us.Her answer was that she was also doing phone orders.WOW..! She can really multitask.Which is UNUSUAL for the younger generation these days. “Wow! I came in for the first time with my kiddos and I had an amazing experience! The restaurant was very clean and everything was put together nicely. I love how the coke machine has many different options, my girls were excited. Our food was 10/10, So delicious! We had no idea how or what to order but thankfully the cashier was a huge help. It takes a lot to have patience! I believe her name was cameron, the rest of the staff were just as nice and respectful too. Great Job Firehouse Subs!“
