The restaurant is clean, the staff is attentive and polite, and the choice of sandwiches and burgers on the menu is extensive. During our two visits so far, my wife and I have tried four different sandwiches, and all have been mouthwatering. We wish that we could recommend one of them, but they're all fantastic. The Steak and Cheese sub tastes like the Subway Steak and cheese melt sandwhich. Its great that they have different sizes to choose. I did enjoy the sub very much and would recommend this place if youre not in a rush.“

“This Subway is a really good place overall. I do have a few gripes about it and it's that the location is somewhat inconvenient. There is one entrance along Ferguson/495 that is just a foot past the intersection and another on the Northbound frontage road (Cage Blvd). That, and the Meatball Marinara here lack a little marinara. Other than that, pretty okay place.“
“I bought the Fiesta Sandwich, and it was also my first time trying sourdough bread which was pretty tasty but I definitely would want to try their pizza. “Hadn't had an issue when dining in. Sadly, today we picked up a to go order and the sandwich was not made to specification. Not the end of the world and if you're wondering, I didn't go back and complain. I know the staff has a lot on their plate during the lunch hour. As posted in the pic, the receipt says toasted; my sandwich was not toasted. I won't mention the parking situation besides saying it's limited. Extremely limited. I do recommend you visit this establishment though as the food is always fresh and the staff is very polite & helpful.“

This girl Cinthia, I think her name was, was playing and flirting with other employees (badly spoken). I had to repeat my order 3 times because this girl was not paying attention, she was more attentive to what was happening behind. I swear I was going to complain but the manager of this location was also a participant in the probe and what good was it. Zero professional ethics are followed by the staff, that's why they do that. I feel like they even make comments about customers and make fun of them. I will not go to this location again. ALWAYS NATURALLY CHECK WHO THEY HIRE OR TRAIN THEM TO PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.“

“Came in and tried the sammiches was good as always a bit pricey but was good food.It was good. the only thing was disappointed on the full-size Nachos it isn't worth the price, or should I say you don't get your moneys worth. They are a bit shysty on the ingredients to the nachos. 1st, the chili was very shysty, the avocado much needed to be diced on the dish, yet it was not enough for the dish. They forgot the sour cream, too, had to ask for it. The photo explains for itself the presentation to it is not that great. And this is a shareable dish...nope it isn't. As far as the sandwich was pretty bland, I don't understand the concept on the juice (sause) they give you. I have to dunk the sammich, and it's there not a great flavor. Actually, get rid of this one and bring back the Big Nasty sammich McAllisters.it is similar. Just add gravy instead of this salty water consume. The portion on the potato salad speaks for itself to see what I mean by shysty. Overall, I think it's a bit too much for the prices either. That just serves a better portion for the cost, yall.“

“I have been to a few Subways, but I must say that this one left me impressed. As I walked in the first thing I noticed was how clean this place was. Every single table was wiped cleaned. The food line was all in ordered including all the chips, straws and cups. The bread looked fresh and all the vegetables as well. The only employee I saw was very attentive. He took care of my order and then I went on to enjoy my meal at one of the tables. Sub was great and well I took photos in case people think I am doing just propaganda. Last, but not least, the restroom was impeccable. It had paper towels, toilet paper and soap. Congratulations to this team for doing a great job on this business. See you on my next visit and review. I like to review businesses because is the only way they can improve and we can enjoy a better service next time.“

“My 1st time here! I was companied with my partner and daughter. The service was nice, attentive, helpful and professional. Drink station was clean, neat and organized. Wait time for food wasn’t long maybe 5- 10 min. I got the Hook and ladder, no onion, and provolone instead of Monterey Jack cheese, with the Mac and cheese drink combo. My meal was delicious, hot made the way I asked, the Mac was rich, creamy, and delicious. My partner got the Steak and cheese, no side with a drink, and daughter got a grilled cheese, rice crispy treat, and drink kids combo. Partner loved his sandwich. The cheese was nice and melty, the peppers were grilled nice and the steak was delicious. Daughter didn’t really like the grilled cheese, a bit dry and hard, could have used some butter or something else to soften up the bread. Single slice of cheese, but could have used extra cheese for cheese to bread ratio, she ended up just eating my Mac and cheese, she loved it though, ate the whole thing! So Mac and cheese is definitely kid approved. Lol My partner and I will definitely be back. I recommend this place for everyone, nice info about firefighters and equipment on cups, nice artwork and display items. Puns are fun too. “Our hostess and cashier Ashley told me this job was new for her, but her customer service skills were very refined. She might well have been doing this work for 20 years.When I asked for a little bowl of meat treats for my service dog, she gave me lots of options and made me a super little bowl of chicken and bacon at a good price.I found her a lot of fun to talk to and she gave me good information about the local area.I have trained customer service people in major corporations and in grocery stores. “Nothing like a Subway! This particular subway in the Hidalgo area is super good! Its always clean, the workers are super nice, the sandwiches are just as advertised, and the wait time is less than 3 minutes! I always order the same, meatballs with Italian bread american cheese pickles lots of mayo lots of ranch sriracha sauce and easy onions doritos with an ice cold fountain powerade! I have the best meals there all the time whether it is on that location or any other! Subway never disappoints and surely enough this locations does not! I will visit again to order the same thing! I just cant get enough of how good the meatballs taste in a sandwich as fresh as subways!“
“Have been to many subways all over texas but by far my all time favorite is this subway. The store manager is a great sandwich artist and does an EXCELLENT job. I order through the subway app often and pick up in store and she always goes above and beyond preparing and labeling the sandwiches. The subs are always extra toasted as requested and they always taste phenomenal.
