“Awesome bar with karaoke, friendly staff and the owners and just amazing. This is my go to bar. Mary is one of the owners who is super nice and comes and gets your order right away. It’s a local hidden spot, where you can listen to country and tejano. I absolutely recommend.“
“We decided to try a new place last night and ended up here. They had options on breading used for your fish, shrimp and chicken. I am gluten free and haven't ate deep fried food in 4 years. I decided to try the cornmeal breading, it was so good I couldn't stop eating?? the others that were with me agreed the cornmeal breading had more flavor than the regular one. Our waitress was the sweetest woman. Always checking in, even apologizing that it took few minutes to get our drinks. It was OK cuz she had a big table she was waiting on. We saw the owner and I think his sister come in to help with the supper rush. He came to check on our table to. He was a very friendly owner. The drinks were fabulous the bartender made the comment she hadn't made an old fashion in years and she nailed it!! I highly recommend this place to anyone!! Can't wait until we come back to visit next year.“

They got good games of pool going on! Music was on point! Met one of the managers...just super good people!! Have had a great time both times I’ve been there! In town for work. “36 minutes to get food after ordering only 2 other tables with peopleAsked for extra salad dressing didn't get it. Ribs very dry had to get up and go find waitress as she and manager and the other two waitress sitting at back tables playing on phones.“
“When first walking into the restaurant it wasn't clearly stated anywhere that we could seat ourselves, so naturally, we waited a bit but no one directed us so we just went ahead.Our waitress was great! Very professional and courteous! The food came out quickly, was still hot & tasted amazing!My only other concern would be the restrooms. All in our group noticed how messy & unclean the stalls were. There was toilet paper all over the floor & missing in some.“

“Ok!! Black Jack's -n- San Benito!! this review is neither for sports nor for the grill, this past Saturday night had a wonderful time dancing!! and enjoyed a local band play, the natives were friendly a bit rowdy at first but settled down as the music started!! everyone seemed to have a wonderful time as did I !!! would like to go back during a sports event they do seem to have quite enough tv's to watch a game or a fight or if the kitchen is open don't know if they specialty burger or do they have wings? what they do have is cold cold beer and a great A/C!! after all that dancing didn't seem to break a sweat that night??“
