Our first-time there, or at any of the Blanquitas restaurants. Nice atmosphere, very attentive. Tasty chips and salsa. Some places charge $3, no charge here. Glad they serve breakfast all day, which is what I had. Tortillas de harina, very good. The only but is the taste of the eggs. They didn't taste like eggs. I am guessing the cooking oil was not the norm I'm used to. The rice was tasty, but very greasy. I avoid greasy foods ( Dennys, IHOP). I won't be returning because of the grease more than anything. We arrived at 1:46 PM on a Tuesday after a 30 minute commute to have lunch at Blanquitas. We were greeted outside of the front door by an employee saying they are closing early because business was real slow. We witness two others parking and immediately leaving! So upsetting, because we really enjoy their food and made an effort to drive into town just to have lunch before they close at 3pm. it’s upsetting that they blame the customers for being slow maybe that’s why it keeps getting slow cause they push the customer not to eat cause it too slow shame on you ppl ?

This amazing local food chain never disappoints!I’ve visited all their locations and they all have different menus, and everyone of them are amazing!Run don’t walk to any Blanquitas near you!The service is great, the parking is fine, you may wait a few mins, but it’s worth it.

Breakfast today at Blanquita's Mexican Restaurant in Harlingen was delicious! It was my 1st time here and I'm definitely a fan. My eggs were made perfectly how I like them. The sausage patties are big and full of flavor. The bacon was crispy. The hashbrowns were nice and golden. The refried beans were good as well. The staff was very friendly. The dining area is nice and clean. I love the atmosphere inside. I'll definitely be back soon with my wife, daughters and mother-in-law. I heard their barbacoa and menudo is very good as well so I have to try those next. I highly recommend.
