Ceviche Ceviche

Delicious! Creatively offered. A little discriminatory greeting. I like trying all types of cuisine. The staff seemed surprised to see that I was interested in eating here. I asked for a small amount of chilies, my food was almost too spicy to eat. I shared my concerns, accepted the apology and I plan to visit again. 😀

Disappointing Customer Service

My wife and I were really looking forward to trying Ceviche Ceviche, and despite the many reviews mentioning poor customer service, we decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, those reviews were right.

When we walked in, there were two young men behind the counter preparing food. They didn’t look up, greet us, or acknowledge us in any way. We spent a couple of minutes looking at the menu, and when we were ready to order, my wife said, “Okay, we’re ready.” Still nothing—not even eye contact. One of the employees walked away, and the other just stood there without saying a word.

At that point, we simply walked out. I’m sure the food is good, but no food is good enough to make up for that level of customer service. Very disappointing experience. We won’t be returning.

Walked in before they were closed and the employees gave me ugly faces and attitude because they didn’t want to prepare the meal. If you close at 6 and I walk in BEFORE 6 why are you making ugly faces and giving me attitude because I’m ordering food. Your door was unlocked and it was before 6!

Very filling servings, and always fresh! Love this place!

Should of taken the photo before eating. 😆Been in San Benito for 3 weeks now for work. Best!! Place I’ve been so far. The islander was great but this poke tuna plate is out of this world. Appreciate the recommendations Joe & Sam

As flavorful as the food is, there are health and safety concerns that are not being properly addressed.

Yes, staff does sit on the floor before coming up to prepare your food. No, they do not wash their hands before preparing your food. While they do wear gloves, that does not negate the necessity of hand-washing.

I visited the doctor this morning for a stomach bug, and the physician told me that the pathogen associated with my stomach infection is due to mishandled food associated with improper hand-washing.

Sadly, I cannot recommend this place to anyone anymore, and I will not come back for the sake of protecting my health.

Delicious, flavorful and fresh food. I just ask the employee what I should get, and it was everything I was hoping for! Super friendly staff, chill music and casual atmosphere.

The food is always great, but man does customer service go a long way. Walked in with my bf to order food and the guy taking our order looked very annoyed to be assisting us. The girl with glasses has the worst attitude ever. We asked for some salt and some napkins and she started throwing items around and rolled her eyes. Most miserable person ive seen in a while. Because of that I give it two stars.

Showed up at 7:20 today and they said they were closed. Guess its a lunch place? Either way ghetto place, cracked tiles, no seating, pissing guy on register. I guess they wanted to go home early today.
