Alex did an amazing job serving a group of 8. The coffee and water was never ending, so we were satisfied with our drinks. The food was on point; served hot and delicious. The new decor is much brighter and welcoming.

Always good food and service

Typically I really like Cracker Barrel but the Harlingen location is awful. Slowest service I’ve ever seen and the food is mediocre at best. Very disappointing 😢

Very noisy, they also always tell you that you have to wait at least 20 minutes, and they talk to you after 5 minutes.
You ask for the bacon well browned AND THEY NEVER BRING IT AS YOU REQUEST.
Very very slow service.

Don't care for the changes. Remodeling was horrific! Too Bright lighting! Missed the old atmosphere. Bad change, it was unique the way it was. All the old stuff was awesome to look at. It was comfy, now it's like all others. Boring and loud and I don't think l will be going back.

Parking: People don't park correctly. Take up 2 spaces at times. I need handicap parking and others take up the space with no plack card or handicap plates.

The food is very representative of the USA, good, the service is also good, very well decorated, the antiques make the place unforgettable, cozy and shows part of the history of North America. Do not modify them, change the color but do not take the antiques.

The food is ok. I would like to see the return of "Eggs on a Basket" or more choices on eggs "poached eggs" (no oil used or butter) on sourdough bread or avocado toast. Even IHop has that choice for people who want to avoid seed oils.

Dietary restrictions: I need to avoid seed oils for health reasons and my family likes to eat there so it's very hard to go with your loved ones when there is not much of a choice.
