Not sure if it was because it was New Year Eve and they didn't have their best meats available but this was definitely disappointing. The turkey was dried out and didn't seem to have been seasoned at all. The brisket was a little too greasy for my liking. Credit to the owners wife though for covering my meal when she realized I didn't enjoy it.

Dave's is great! It's always a treat when we go there. Some say you can't get good Texas brisket in South Texas, but I beg to differ. Dave's is outstanding! Great banana pudding too! Cold beer on tap and live music on Friday nights round out the entertainment value. We're going to continue to be regulars at Dave's!

Winter Texans. We always return to Dave's BBQ. Our favorite is the 3 meat dinner includes 2 sides $18.99. ( brisket, half chicken, smoked turkey Mac & cheese & coleslaw. Feeds us both with takehome box. Quick and great service.

Last night was the Third time my family has eaten here at @Dave’s … never disappoints! Such a family friendly bar & grill with the best BBQ in Harlingen In my opinion!!!! A neighborhood joint with a Cheers vibe “where everyone knows your name”😉
ONE DANG GOOD BBQ SPOT. Just go in and give it a try. I recommend the chopped brisket sandwich or loaded nachos.
