The wait was a little long compared to other "sandwich" places. Food was ok. I got the kahuna chicken. Chicken was dry and the mushrooms were mushy almost too soggy. Chips were stale but the root beer was good. I'll give it another shot but I'm not too enthusiastic...

THE JUICE!!! - red wine vinegar and olive oil- i asked for extra juice today because it's just that good?. Once I finished my lunch sub i found myself wanting a dinner sub, I got the super sub today and wanted to try the Chipotle Chilli cheese steak for dinner. 10/10 recommend eating here.Next time I'll take photos of the yummy subs, I also recommend the spicy dill chips to go with your sub, it's like miss vickies jalapeño and sea salt vinegar had a baby-Also a 10/10.Everyone was friendly and I'm sure the missing topping was due to new hires, absolutely fine with it since i still remember myself trying to find my own way around a restaurant when I first started, practice makes perfect- we all start somewhere.I love the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff here, they explain what's most popular and what comes in the sub just in case you dont fully know and they also offer other options other than bread such as in a tortilla,wrap or in a bowl ( i think looks like healthy sushi roll ) and they also offer gluten free bread.they ask if you're in the mood for a hot or cold sub which i think helps determine what to order if it's your first time or if you'd like to try to try something new.I absolutely recommend this place to everyone i know and I will keep on ordering from jersey mikes. Vegetarian options: If you're looking for a vegetarian or vegan option- there is the #14 which is "the veggie" you can ask to remove the Swiss for vegan and it comes with bell peppers and your choice of toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers, pickles, jalapeños,cherry pepper relish and the juice which is red wine vinegar and olive oil sprinkled with salt and oregano, you can also ask for pepper and or add portabella mushrooms, which is #64 on the menu if you want it hot on the grill (ask for no Swiss and in a tub if vegan)

We normally love jersey Mike's original sub. Disappointed today. 4 employees..manage..walking around, acting important, not assisting.young lady started our order well, slicing meat. She passed the sandwich off to someone new..he tried really hard but the communication between the two was poor. The young man had a hard time understanding what I wanted. At checkout, the third man took a few minutes with his back turned before ringng us up. The manager was too busy politicking to ring us out.

I love these subs! They’re as delicious as I ever remember while growing up in NJ. Perfect blend of sub roll (Parmesan is my choice), sandwich meats, cheeses, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper (“Mike’s Way”). The “Original Italian” takes me back to the good old days, hanging out in the park after wiffle ball, and eating subs from the local sub shop; or maybe sitting on the beach at Manasquan, just across from Point Pleasant, home of Mike’s original shop. Reasonable price, delicious subs, and more!
