I think this is the best sweet bread in the RGV. The place is always packed, so finding parking can be a bit difficult, but the wait is worth it. The prices are perfect for these difficult times, and the quality of what you're getting is unrivaled in taste and quality.
GREAT customer service, people just need to learn patience. This is a small business, and slightly understaffed sometimes. If you have had a bad experience, trust me it is most likely your own fault, STOP BEING SO RUDE!!!

After having been told by several people that the sweet bread from this location was one of the best in the city, I accidentally found the infamous Lara's Bakery in Harlingen whilst playing Pokemon Go. The first thing that caught me off guard was the fact that unlike other bakery's I've been to, for the first time ever, you cannot pick up a tray and tongs and start loading up.
