I have always had a great experience eating here. It’s a very clean place. The week of June First was a disaster. The food was bland. The rice and beans had no salt nor pepper. The chicken flautas were overcooked. Need a new cook.
Heading back from South Padre we decided to give this place a shot. It's a simple restaurant with a small menu. The food was amazing! I ordered chilaquiles and a picadillo with cheese taco on the side. When the food came out, WOW! The taco was huge! It was at least 12 inches long and nice and full. The chilaquiles and picadillo was so good. I highly recommend giving this place a shot for breakfast.
Good food. I had a beef and veggie soup. Broth was delicious. Meat was a bit fatty. Veggies were good, huge chunks. Flour tortilla was good. Spanish rice served on the side was delicious. Fast, friendly service.
