During a day trip to Harlingen we stopped in this little restaurant for breakfast. It doesn't have a very extensive menu, but the upside is a super friendly staff and great food! Seems to be a family business, very informal. We requested a business card which referred to the place as the Pastry House. And yes, they do have a case full of great-looking pastries... plenty of cupcakes and regular sized cakes. On Google Maps it shows up as the City Coffee Shop, which has only...
Norma owner of this place made it happen in so little time. I placed my 1st order late and she came through. I will for ever be coming here. My step son loved his Jurassic Park cake. ❤️
This place had one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten in my life. I was there two years ago and still mention the place when I talk about places in the RGV. They may have been in the top ten best tasting means I’ve ever had and they are for sure in the top ten for value meals. It was a huge plate of food for just under $10. I had trouble finishing it all snd that never happens.
