The food is great. I don't want the atmosphere to be someone's decision breaker but it is hot in there. It's an old building and poor insulation. I go to the one in McAllen and it's not an issue. I feel so sad about the heat but people should be warned 😫
New York Deli is a great place for lunch, sandwiches are always top quality and staff is great. The place is cute, clean, and a nice place to have a meal with friends. Personally I love how ABSOLUTELY LOADED WITH BACON their BLTs are.
The only real complaint from me is that their AC is a bit weak so the place runs a bit warm if you’re sensitive to temperature. They do run fans to keep the place from getting sweltering though.

The Ruben that all other Rubens are judged against, and the potato salad is awesome. Burgers are great, you just can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Don’t forget the navy bean soup!!!!!!
