the atmosphere is great here good place to eat but i got food poisoning by eating a burger with mushrooms and it got me with bad stomach

This restaurant was good last year, but tonight (2/23/2024) the 6 of us waited over 1.5 hours before the food arrived. There are enough good places to eat in Harlingen that we will not go back. Unfortunately, other folks in the restaurant were having the same experience as we did, while others got their food long before we ever got ours.

Ordered a seafood botana, 3lb fish, 1 lb shrimp, 1 lbs oysters. Female employee said it included 12 pieces of fish, 16 shrimp and 10 oysters, and if I wanted I could switch out the oysters for more shrimp. I decided on getting the extra shrimp. Got home with my order which only had 5 pieces of fish and 20 shrimp. Place is not worth your money....go somewhere else. Place is operated by crooks.

We had such a nice time there! The food was good, a little too salty for me personally but still tasty. The salsa & shrimp & fried fish was good. Pretty cute inside too! The service was amazing. Our waiter (Brandon I think?) was hilarious and sooo good spirited we really liked him. Give the boy a raise! Lol. We will definitely be back!

First time dining in for dinner and we were very disappointed. We both got fish and plates only came with one thin fillet, side salad (lettuce and cabbage no dressing) and fries for him rice for me. Food was room temp and my fish with garlic sauce was super super salty. Maybe we came on a “bad day” ??♀️

Terrible service, the waitress reluctantly left the food and brought us neither napkins nor tortillas and the food was cold...I really don't recommend it, a 4 out of 10...terrible service

The food was pretty good, however the shrimp had no flavor. I had to add the salsa to the shrimp tacos to give it flavor. They were not busy when we arrived at about 4:45pm. They floor was still dirty from previous dinners. The waitress was a little lost and could not remember our order, she also didnt know what was not available and had to come back to table a few times.

Very bad experience here. Food was very bad and service was bad also. I ordered a very common mexican dish like you literally cant mess it up and nope i was the last one to get a plate after they cleaned up everyone elses plate on my table of 10 ppl and by the time they brought it i had to take it to go because i was literally eating by myself. They told me they ran out of chicken as they already finished my dish so they gave it to me with cheese only and g it tasted like plastic i didn't bother taking it to go and just left the full plate there. These ppl were not helpful at all so my partner had to tell them himself because they expected us to pay for a plate that was horrible. My plate was the only one that this happened to.
