Had the Taco de Trompo (Al Pastor) special. They were not authentic. The tacos are oily since the tortilla was dipped in lard or oil. The meat is not from the Trompo! Won't be returning....

Each time i go, im more and more disappointed. This used to be a gem. Now it seems like another business losing their touch. I ordered three combos which show they come with cilantro, cheese, etc. When i informed the man working at window he said it doesn’t and it was an extra charge. I was just trying to feed my household so paying wasn’t a problem. HOWEVER, paying $5 for the smallest amount of cheese is actually insane. I get home and there is no cilantro, a smaller amount of onions than usual and ONLY 2 LIMES for 10+ tacos??? That’s actually insane. The man’s service was amazing. The company itself wants to prioritize giving inside folks everything. But they profit more from togo orders bc lack of refills and no orders being sent back if looks wrong. The pricing has forgone up tremendously, which is due to inflation i get it, BUT if you’re going to raise your prices then DO BETTER and deliver 100% accuracy and don’t take away everything else that’s minimal cost.

Very bad food, the Mexican burger was horrible, the meat was horrible and it looked like paper, very old, it smelled bad and the tacos were tasteless, it's no longer what it was 10 years ago, and the prices were sky high, 30 dollars for one order of flavorless tacos and a burger for the dog. I won't be back. It was in Harlingen 1-6-2024

Beans were good no giant pieces of pork which was great.tacos were good meat was hot +and flavorful+tortillas not greasy nor did the break open while eating+.salsa was ok not to spicy left another taqueria to eat here and we enjoyed way more.service was A++ and server was attentive but not overdone she came by at exactly the right time.well be back again im.sure when in Harlingen.thanks great work
