Everything that’s coming out of this kitchen looks amazing!! Must try their world, famous ribeye tacos, and chicken fried steak!!! chips and salsa spot on!!

I had been planning on visiting Red Rooster Ice House for about a year. Met a friend there, made some friends there. Awesome little Place tucked away in Hawkins. Great food, great staff and City Limits did not disappoint! Worth the trip. Drinks are on point too!

I gave the new owner a month to see what would happen since the sale and unfortunately my suspicion was correct.
The New menu rolled out on Wednesday (6/3/25)which no longer includes the lunch menu which was a staple for myself and my company I brought in no less than 3x per week. So, no lunch menu which by default made my lunch bill increase 20% instantly and I bet the portion sizes will gradually decrease with time as well. I guess we have to pay for all the new tvs somehow….
The waitress there are friendly and take care of the people dining and are 5 stars easily. Unfortunately, the new owner is 1 star. I am just waiting on the hungerbuster and blizzard machine to show up.

We always have a great time here! Love going for the live bands and the staff is always sweet and the food is great! We drive in from Gilmer often!
