Delicious and worth the stop if you’re in Hearne. Our fried chicken, green beans, butter beans and mac and cheese were over the top delicious. And there was plenty of food for a reasonable price. We were greeted with smiles and good old southern hospitality. Truly a hidden gem in Hearne.

Southern cooking at its best. What a relief from all the Mexican food. Traveled for 2 weeks from Texas to Cali. glad we stopped here. Awesome!
Generally stop here otw out of town, on this occasion had the oxtails w/ mac n cheese this time had to wait cause they were out and when I got it was missing the creamy cheese sauce I'm used to...the oxtails fell off the bone but were overly salty...my mother and I were highly disappointed even the corn breadwas dry....the plates are about $20 each w/out the drink. For the price and what we got we will probably pass next time, unfortunate....

I moved to College Station from Mississippi. After church my grandbaby said grandma you want something from the oxtail factory. He read me the menu over the phone. The plate was heavy so you definitely get your money's worth. The Cabbages were sooo good and seasoned. The oxtails were so tender and the gravy was perfect. The sweet potatoes were just right and the cornbread was freshly homade I could tell...We had given up on finding the food we like. Being from Mississippi we absolutely love soul food. But this was the BEST soul food I done ate in a loooonnnnggg time. You deserve 10 stars...10/10 if you have not been here. You need to go...you will not be disappointed 🥰
