We had their pizza last night at their new location, located by Pete's Place in Helotes, TX in old town. it was delicious. It's not your standard American pizza. The flavors are unique and very fresh. The Genovese was our favorite with the Salami, Tomato, Basil, and gorgonzola cheese. The owner also recommended the lasagna. I apologize, but....mamma mia! Probably the best wood fired Neapolitan style pizza I've had this side of the Atlantic. Perfectly charred, thin (but not cracker-like) , crispy but still got that chew to it, smoky, crust, topped with a wide variety of fresh ingredients. Lovingly constructed by the owner in front of this huge pizza oven, which is not easy. What with this Texas summer heat and humidity? You gotta love what you're doing, and it shows. My favorite local pizza spot! I’ve ordered takeout from Fiamma Pizzeria a handful of times, and every order I bring home is perfect! From the sauce, cheese, toppings and the crunchy- yet soft- crust, we’re never disappointed. ????
