Authentic Japanese food in cozy atmosphere! Service is great too! I just regret I didn’t take pictures before I finished my food.

This place was great! I went the day before Mother’s Day and really enjoyed the experience.

The wait staff was kind, patient, and helpful while we figured out what to order, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was calming and comfortable, with great smells throughout the restaurant. The lighting was dim and relaxing while still being bright enough to clearly see the food — a perfect balance.

Everything tasted great, but the fries topped with crab were definitely a standout for me. The noise level was also perfect, which made a huge difference for my sensory-sensitive son. He really appreciated the calmer environment and thoughtful atmosphere.

The bathroom was clean, although it was a bit warm inside — possibly because it was located near the kitchen area. Some circulating air in the bathroom would make the experience even better.

Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place!

Unfortunately Mid.

Had 3 different ramens, katsu plate & edamame, all disappointingly bland.

Server was nice, food was food.

Excellent food! Finally, the 1st ramen I've had in San Antonio that's not just an overpriced bowl of noodles in flavorless broth with a couple veggies thrown in. I placed a pickup order for Goma Q (Crunchy Japanese Cucumber With Sesame Dressing) appetizer and Aka Fuku (Red) Ramen (Signature Tonkotsu (Pork) Broth with Spicy Umami Paste , Thin Noodle, Pork Belly...). Both dishes were full of flavor and perfectly prepared. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. (Note to restaurant management: please invest in better plastic cutlery for to-go orders. The tiny, weak plasticware was a sad way to eat such delicious food.)

This place needs to be known a lot more. I'm vising from Melbourne, AU and we have really good japanese restaurants, and I wasn't expecting much but this place just ticks all boxes. Food is really tasty, we had ramen, gyoza, and tempura. Service is fast and people are nice. My now go-to place whenever I'm visiting San Antonio.

So delicious! Had the plum wine which was almost like a tasty hard apple juice. Tan tan ramen was delicious. According to the menu, one of the spiciest items on the menu, but it was not too spicy at all. Will def be coming back.

First time at this location, with a friend for lunch and it was her first time and she loved it. Her family liked their food too (to go for dinner). Our main waitress was sweet but it was another lady who seemed like something was wrong. Bad day maybe? Anywho, back to the food. Appetizer was the Japanese fried chicken for me and my friend had a cucumber salad (not sure if that was the name on the menu). I had some udon that came with a side of the smashed potato (loveeeeee) and my friend had the tan tan ramen. She said it wasnt too spicy which she like as she could still enjoy the taste of her food. I had mango mochi for dessert, really wanted to try the strawberry but they were out. Of course I'll be back ☺️ Love the atmosphere.

Service was great, atmosphere was good, and food was tasty but what incredibly small portions! I almost thought it was a joke at first. I ordered a spicy udon dish and it came out in one of those large, deep bowls like you would see in a nice Ramen or noodle place but my food literally was about one inch deep. I thought $14, pretty average price for dishes like these. Not for that portion! Won't be going back for sure unfortunately.

Really good food 🔥
The chicken katsu was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with great sides that made the meal feel complete.
Everything looked really appealing and tasted even better. Definitely coming back.

Food: The sides were well made like the takoyaki was nice and crisp, the tempura was also solid.

The ramen was average but tasted good and decent portion.

The dessert: taiyaki the fish was room temp on some parts and cold in others kinda like it was from the freezer and defrosted.

The icecream was alright served in a small cup.
Service was good got refills on time even when busy, they always smiling and polite.

Atmospere: Had a small cafe vibe everyone was close to each other, gets packed pretty fast depending on time of day.
