Cozy, warm, enjoyable and family oriented.

Vegetarian options: Fast serving friendly staff. If you're not very familiar with Japanese food, the staff will make recommendations that are spot on. But the food speaks for itself. Normally, when I eat out, I'm stuffed. But not at Hoka Hoka Fuku. The restaurant location, staff, and food rank high.

Kid-friendliness: I've witnessed the staff treating the little one with charm and kindness.

I went tin thinking I felt like ramen, then changed my mind to Dan Dan udon. Went in on a busy Saturday night for dinner, we got seated right away by a friendly lady. I couldn't decide on an appetizer, but finally we went with the squid, someone next to us had the katsu platter and it looked amazing with all the tiny dishes on a wooden tray. I ordered a chicken katsu curry, and it's not the traditional Japanese way. traditional Japanese Curry; if you Google it, is white rice vegetables Curry and chicken. I got laughed at by the waitress for putting Curry over my chicken, even though it's traditional .
