Yes, the sample of beer helped! Lol. Walking in with not your average work clothes, living in the area, killing 20 minutes and walking into a specialty store.. i can say this is a Great place to look, sample, shop. Super nice help, recommendations, and small talk after a long day. So glad they have gift cards for family to get me for Christmas and Bday!! Prices are on point from pellets to some quality products and giftables.
Great selection of rubs, spices, sauces, and grilling equipment. They source a lot of local products made in Texas , and they even let you taste some of the spices before buying, which is helpful when you want to look for something new to try. Staff are always super helpful for answering any BBQ related questions.

We had a great time here today, 1 stop shop for Christmas, even picked up something for the vegetarians. Having the tasting wall of rubs was a game changer, pretty label doesn't mean you'll like it. We might have spent a bit more than shopping the internet, but the service, knowledge and being able to touch something before we bought it was well worth the cost. Ok and the Shiner on tap didn't hurt either.
