I’ve tried barbacoa from so many places, but this one tops them all! The meat is incredibly lean, tender, and bursting with flavor in every bite. No grease, no shortcuts!!!!! just authentic, delicious barbacoa done right. This is my new go-to spot!

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews. But I had no choice. Today I went in only to buy some flour tortillas. But decided on purchasing some tamales. When I sat down to eat some tamales with coffee. I was sitting there after taking a bite of the tamale. Never again will buy the tamales there. They were hard, to much masa, very little pork meat. And with no flavor. Please Rios hire someone that will make good tamales. Not worth the money.
Staple weekend barbacoa local for Helotes. Highly recommended for their quality and great prices.
