this was our first visit, though I've driven by many times before and have seen this location busy on saturdays-- this Saturday it was slow so it was nice to be able to sit in the quiet and enjoy the food for the first time and I have to say it did not disappoint. Large (for us) portions. We got the mozzarella sticks, which were crispy with a different flavoring profile than your typical Italian herbs (absolutely recommend). First off, I want to commend the owner of this establishment for recognizing and honoring our US military veterans. If it weren't for them we all would not be free to write reviews without censorship on websites like this. Today I ordered the plain hamburger. It was a nice thick patty with lettuce tomato purple onion and sliced pickle on a nice soft sourdough hamburger bun. For a side I chose the fried okra. And, for an appetizer had the gator bites. It’s Easter Sunday and not many places are open so we tried them out and BOY we were NOT disappointed! We ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast (which was a 10/10) and we also ordered the pork chop breakfast (also a 10/10). We will definitely be coming back as regulars!
